APNIC will deliver a three-day IXP workshop from 18 to 20 April 2017 in Selangor, Malaysia, with support from MyIX.

Register now and pay before 28 March 2017 to get the early-bird rate.

This workshop is designed for technical staff working for ISPs and network operators who have, or are considering, connecting to an Internet Exchange Point (IXP).

Topics covered will include:

• OSPF/ISIS configuration for Service Provider networks
• BGP introduction
• BGP attributes, policy, and filtering
• Peering objectives and best practices
• IXP network design and operational best practices

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to practice the hands-on lessons learned using the APNIC virtual lab.
