APNIC sponsored and participated at the 30th DNS-OARC Workshop (OARC 30) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 12 to 13 May 2019.

Read: Rallying a community to protect core Internet service

OARC 30 was held alongside the ICANN DNS Symposium, Registration Operations Workshop and the GDD Industry Summit and welcomed 175 participants over the two days.

APNIC activities:

  •  Geoff Huston gave a presentation entitled, ‘What part of ‘NO’ is so hard for the DNS to understand’ on the higher than expected DNS queries for non-existent names.
