As 2015 draws to a close we reflect on a busy year. During the holiday period, the APNIC Blog will feature a series called ‘Three of the best’, highlighting our most popular posts from 2015, on themes important to our community.

Again IPv6 was a much talked about topic in 2015 as more networks continue to adopt and deploy it.

The top three posts on IPv6 in 2015 are:

  1. Revisiting Apple and IPv6 – Geoff Huston re-scores Apple 8.5 out of 10 on its IPv6 efforts in light of recent changes.
  2. Familiarity key to IPv6 deployment in Cambodia – a young network operator explores the Internet landscape in Cambodia and the country’s need to become familiar with IPv6 sooner rather than later.
  3. Design architecture options for IPv6 deployment in broadband access networks – learn one IPv6 address planning option for a typical broadband access network.

What are your organizations’ plans for deploying IPv6 in 2016?  Share your comments below.
