The 2026 APNIC Survey is your chance to directly inform APNIC’s strategic planning, priorities, and future direction. It will be open from 1 to 28 June 2026.
The survey is open to APNIC Members and the broader Internet community, especially in the Asia Pacific region.
It is conducted anonymously by Survey Matters, an independent research agency engaged by the APNIC Executive Council. No identifying information will be made available to APNIC.
In addition to English, the survey will also be available in ten other languages.

Why participate?
Your feedback is extremely valuable. APNIC acts on the results, and your feedback will help improve services and contribute to future planning.
The 2024 APNIC Survey reinforced that Internet security remains a top challenge; in response, APNIC’s 2025 and 2026 activity plans included both cybersecurity capacity-building and practical risk-reduction work, such as strengthening system security and expanding security-related operational practices.
Responses also flagged regulatory compliance as a growing cost and operational burden, so subsequent activity plans emphasized stakeholder cooperation and APNIC’s role in public policy discussions — work that helps ensure governments and regulators understand how the Internet operates in practice.
Ongoing IPv6 transition challenges were evident from 2025 survey responses, which led to targeted IPv6 deployment assistance and ongoing work to strengthen the operational environment in which Members deploy and secure Internet services.
