Che-Hoo Cheng gave an update on APNIC services and activities at APAN 56.

APNIC supported and participated in the 56th meeting of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN 56), held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 21 to 25 August 2023.

The event welcomed 379 participants to share information on cloud, routing, AI, security and much more. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

  • Che-Hoo Cheng gave an update on APNIC services and activities at the General Assembly.
  • Che-Hoo also conducted the ‘Setting up an IXP (Tutorial)’.
  • Jamie Gillespie conducted the ‘Security Workshop: You Choose What to Learn in Security’. Jamie is also the Chair of the Technical Committee and the Co-Chair of the Security Working Group.
  • There was also a presentation from project leaders Jilong Wang and Changqing An about the achievements and future plans for the APNIC Foundation’s ISIF Asia project: ‘Developing a Collaborative BGP Routing Analyzing and Diagnosing Platform‘.
