APNIC participated in the inaugural YouthxPolicyMakers on Internet Governance Workshop, held online on 31 August 2021.
Organized by the German Informatics Society, the event welcomed over 50 participants to build their skills and discuss various aspects about Internet governance, ahead of the upcoming 2021 Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2021).
APNIC activities:
Joyce Chen was invited to participate and facilitated one of the break-out rooms, which discussed Internet governance stakeholders, their roles and responsibilities, the role of youth, how to contribute to the IGF 2021, and contributing to Internet governance discussions and processes.
