APNIC is collecting reports from our Members in the Pacific and other affected islands, and needs are being assessed based on those reports.
Guest post: As part of a 2014 project supported by ISIF Asia and Internet NZ, we’ve been going to a number of satellite-connected islands in the Pacific on behalf of PICISOC to see whether we could make better use of their satellite links using network-coded TCP.
The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) is pleased to announce the selection of five projects as grant recipients, including two from the Pacific Islands, to be implemented in 2015.
