
APNIC supported and participated in LKNOG 9, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 21 to 25 July 2025.
The event welcomed approximately 200 participants, the largest since the event’s inception, to take part in workshops and hear from speakers on topics including AI, KINDNS, routing and much more. View the schedule for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Dave Phelan delivered a presentation titled ‘The Internet by the Numbers — Sri Lanka Edition’ where he explored statistics on IPv6 and RPKI deployment and Internet security at a global, regional and local (Sri Lanka) level.
- Dave and APNIC Community Trainer, Subhashini Kadurugasyaya, conducted a four-day Network Automation Workshop for 38 participants.
- Pubudu Jayasinghe hosted a booth and conducted several APNIC Member visits, answering their questions on Internet number resources, RPKI and APNIC products and services.
- Pubudu also served as an active member of the Core Committee.
