APNIC participated in NANOG 93, held in Atlanta, Georgia from 3 to 5 February 2025.

The three-day event welcomed 700 participants onsite and 67 participants online and featured keynote presentations from Yun Freund on ‘AI Powered Network 5.0’ and Scott Robohn on ‘Building Community around Network Automation’. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

  • Geoff Huston presented on Starlink, where he explained how it works, discussed performance issues, and shared Starlink’s proposed measures for improvement.
  • Geoff also presented a Lighting Talk titled ’30 Years of BGP’ where he reflected on the past 30 years of the Internet and made forecasts of the near future.
