APNIC supported and participated in APSIG 2023, held in Manila, Philippines from 26 to 29 November 2023.
The event welcomed around 60 unique participants, including 40 fellows, to hear from speakers on topics including the Internet governance landscape and digital economy, access, gender and the digital divide, and cybersecurity.
APNIC activities:
- Sunny Chendi facilitated two roleplaying activities at APSIG 2023. The first was on a cybersecurity incident to raise awareness of common incidents that occur, and the second was on how the Internet works, using the IPGO card game.
- Sunny also met with the APSIG leaders to learn about the future of APSIG and APNIC support for the next generation of Internet leaders.
- APNIC provided the Zoom platform for remote participation.
