APNIC Academy hosted two workshops at bdNOG 15.

APNIC supported and participated in bdNOG 15 held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 9 to 12 December 2022.

The event welcomed 42 participants to a conference day and two workshops. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

  • Warren Finch presented an ‘Introduction to Software Defined Networking’ (SDN).
  • Chimi Dorji presented on ‘IPv6 Deployment in South Asia’.
  • Awal Haolader presented on ‘RPKI Deployment Status in Bangladesh’.
  • Warren also conducted a workshop on Network Management and Monitoring (NMM).
  • Additionally, Awal conducted a workshop on IPv6 deployment alongside APNIC Community Trainer Shaila Sharmin.
  • APNIC also hosted a booth and answered questions on ROAs and RPKI, resource requirements, route creation, and membership queries.

    Training quality was very poor. I was very disappointed and I hope they will improve the teaching methodology.
