APNIC supported and participated in BIGF 2022, from 10 to 12 November 2022 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The event was hosted by the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum and welcomed approximately 120 participants to hear from speakers on topics related to the theme, ‘Resilient Internet for Sustainable Development and Smart Bangladesh’. View the agenda for more information.
BIGF also hosted workshops for children and women to discuss the progress, challenges, opportunities, and next steps in Internet governance.
Sunny Chendi was a panellist in the following sessions:
- ‘Empowering Youth & Youth Women for Smart Bangladesh Onwards to IG Process: Progress, Challenges, Opportunities & Way Forward’.
- ‘Fellowship Opportunity on Internet Governance’.
- ‘Basic Routing Security & Meaningful Coordination in Digital Ecosystem Progress, Challenges, Opportunities & Way Forward.’
- ‘Connecting All People and Meaningful Access; Declaration for the Future of the Internet.’
Sunny also met with APNIC Members and industry associations.
