APNIC supported and participated in IDNOG 7, held from 25 to 28 July in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The event welcomed around 400 participants to share information about peering, cloud infrastructure, routing, and the DNS.

APNIC activities:

  • Wita Laksono gave an update on IPv6 and RPKI in Indonesia, and the new features related to network management and monitoring in the NetOX, DASH, and REx products.
  • Wita also hosted a booth and answered several questions from APNIC Members on APNIC membership, the current IPv4 address policy and transfer procedure, MyAPNIC, Network Monitoring and Management (NMM) tools, APNIC Academy, and accessing APNIC technical assistance.
  • Wita, Shane Hermoso, and Warren Finch also conducted the Software Defined Networking (SDN) workshop for 22 participants.
  • Wita is a part of the IDNOG program committee.
