APNIC supported and participated in the UMS Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar, held online on 25 October 2021.
The event was organized in conjunction with the cybersecurity awareness month in Malaysia, and welcomed around 50 participants from academic institutions to share information about cybersecurity threats, prevention, and mitigation techniques.
APNIC activities:
- Adli Wahid gave a presentation on lessons learned from security incidents, highlighting mobile device security, threat modelling, security and politics, security and economies, and the ethics of cybersecurity professionals.
