APNIC participated in the Broadband India Forum Session on IPv6, held online on 7 October 2021.
Broadband India Forum is an initiative to develop and enhance broadband in India. This event focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with IPv6 deployment, with speakers sharing updates and experiences on IPv6 deployment to date.
APNIC activities:
- Geoff Huston gave an overview of the transition to an IPv6 Internet, noting some of the current issues and what to consider going forward to ‘ensure that the industry maintains a collective focus on continued innovation and openness as the ultimate objective of this exercise’.
