APNIC supported and participated in HKNOG 10.0, held online on 10 September 2021.

The event welcomed 100 unique participants to hear from speakers on topics including DNS, cybersecurity, IPv6 and IXPs.

APNIC activities:

  • Geoff Huston presented on ‘Measuring DNS centrality’ on the extent the DNS resolution environment is centralized.
  • Che-Hoo Cheng presented on the first 20 years of the Internet in Hong Kong to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Hong Kong Internet.
  • APNIC also provided the Zoom platform and paper submission system for the event.
