APNIC proudly supported and participated in PacNOG 27, held online from 1 to 8 December 2020.

The event welcomed around 37 participants to hear from speakers on topics including alternative enterprises, lawful intercept, and DNS security.

APNIC activities:

  • Warren Finch gave a presentation on the fundamentals of Internet security.
  • Tashi Phuntsho and Dave Phelan conducted the BGP Operations & Security Best Practices tutorial on current tools/techniques in use, how RPKI is just a piece in the puzzle, and what we should do to secure Internet routing instead of waiting for an ideal solution that fixes all issues.
