APNIC supported and participated in the seventh edition of the Bhutan Network Operators Group (btNOG 7), held online on 16 October 2020.

The event welcomed around 97 unique participants to hear from speakers on topics including cybersecurity, RPKI and Internet affordability and usability in Bhutan.

APNIC activities:

  • Geoff Huston provided the keynote presentation on measuring Route Origin Validation (ROV) from the perspective of the end user.
  • Warren Finch gave a presentation on Internet security in Technical Plenary 2.
  • Tashi Puntsho moderated the session ‘Internet to every Bhutanese household — affordable & usable’.
  • APNIC also provided technical support for Zoom and the presentation submission system.
