APNIC proudly supported and participated in the 2020 India School of Internet Governance (inSIG 2020), held online from 7 to 10 October 2020.

The event welcomed around 75 unique participants, including 40 fellows, to hear from speakers on topics including the current state and future of Internet governance, emerging Internet technologies, trends and security, and gender and diversity.

APNIC activities:

  • Sunny Chendi presented on core Internet technologies from a numbers perspective in ‘Thematic Session 2: Introduction to Core Internet Technologies’.
  • Pablo Hinojosa moderated ‘Thematic Session 3: Emerging Internet Technologies, Trends And Security’, featuring Amb. Latha Reddy (Co-Chair of the Global Commission on Stability of Cyberspace); Narendra Nath Gangavarapu (Joint Secretary, Security Council Secretariat, Government of India) and Konstantinos Komaitis (Senior Director, ISOC).
