APNIC proudly supported and participated in the 9.0 Hong Kong Network Operators Group (HKNOG 9.0) meeting, held online on 25 September 2020.

The event welcomed around 210 unique participants to hear from speakers on topics including peering, Internet of Things, segment routing and much more.

APNIC activities:

  • Geoff Huston gave a presentation about ‘Measuring RPKI’, on measuring the effectiveness of Route Origin Validation (ROV) filtering from an end user perspective using a broad-scale reachability measurement.
  • Tashi Phuntsho gave a presentation focused on key operational considerations and challenges with ROV.
  • APNIC technical staff provided Zoom webinar support during the meeting.
