Event Wrap: KHNOG 2019

APNIC proudly supported and participated at the inaugural revived Cambodia Network Operators Group (KHNOG 1) meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 4 November 2019.

The event welcomed around 150 participants to hear from speakers on topics including SD-WAN, RPKI, and ISP life. The KHNOG committee publicly acknowledged and thanked APNIC for its continued support for the event. In future, KHNOG plans to hold two meetings per year.

APNIC activities:

  • Che-Hoo Cheng presented on IXPs and Peering, sharing his personal experiences and observations operating an IXP in Hong Kong.
  • Che-Hoo also was also a panellist at the ‘Network vs Security’ session.
  • Anna Mulingbayan had one-on-one meetings with several APNIC Members to discuss IPv6 deployment, RPKI and network security.
