It was a full house at SGNOG 7.

APNIC proudly supported and participated at the seventh Singapore Network Operators Group (SGNOG 7) meeting in Singapore on 12 July 2019.

The event welcomed 367 participants, a 75% increase from SGNOG 6, to hear from speakers on network automation, BGP, routing security and RPKI. View the agenda for more information. There was also a two-day hackathon, held for the first time, which welcomed 18 participants.

APNIC activities:

  • Anna Mulingbayan met with several Members and participants interested in becoming APNIC Members to answer their general queries on APNIC membership and IP addresses.
  • Anna held many one-on-one discussions with APNIC Members on:
    • IPv4 transfers
    • IPv6 deployment
    • RPKI and ROA object creation in MyAPNIC
    • Updating their records in the APNIC Whois Database.
