Dhaka to host APNIC 50

APNIC is pleased to announce that APNIC 50 will be held in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in September 2020.

The event will include five days of technical training workshops and a three day conference with speakers drawn from across the Asia Pacific and the world. The proposed dates are 3-10 September 2020, with the workshop dates being 3-7 September and conference held on 8-10 September.

Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh, one of the fastest growing economies in the region and the third largest economy for direct APNIC membership (765 Members as of 22 July 2019).

APNIC appreciates the support for the event from the Posts and Telecommunications Division of the Government of Bangladesh, and the host of APNIC 50, ISPAB (Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh).

APNIC will announce more information about the conference, including the venue and other details, as the event draws nearer.
