IPv6 deployment workshop to be held in Brunei this October

APNIC will deliver a three-day IPv6 deployment workshop from 1 to 3 October 2019, in Brunei, with the support of the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI).

Register now and pay before 6 September 2019 to get the early-bird rate.

This workshop is aimed at technical staff who are involved in Internet technology standards, local and national network infrastructure deployment, and day-to-day network operations. Topics covered will include:

  • Internet fundamentals
  • IPv6 protocol architecture and standards
  • IPv6 enhancements to routing protocols
  • IPv6 addressing and address planning
  • IPv6 transition technologies
  • IPv6 deployment planning
  • Enabling IPv6 on network services (DNS, WWW)
  • IPv6 security issues

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to practice the hands-on lessons learned using the APNIC virtual lab.
