APNIC supported and participated at the Myanmar Internet Exchange (MMIX) Peering Forum 2019 in Yangon, Myanmar, from 3 to 5 May 2019.
MMIX Peering Forum 2019 brought together network operators, content providers, and representatives from government and Internet organizations for peering and interconnection, plus discussion on topics including disaster recovery, DNS security best practices, and MANRS.
APNIC activities:
- Tashi Phuntsho gave a presentation on Internet routing security.
- Tashi also helped conduct an interactive Advanced BGP and RPKI workshop alongside Aftab Siddiqui (ISOC) and Saw Yan Paing (MMIX).
