NZNOG 2019 participants at the SDN workshop.

APNIC participated at the 2019 New Zealand Network Operators Group (NZNOG 2019) in Napier, New Zealand from 28 January to 1 February 2019.

The event welcomed around 200 participants to hear about topics including network security, DNS Flag Day, and 5G technology.

APNIC activities:

  • Geoff Huston presented on ‘The State of Routing (In)Security’.

  • Elly Tawhai and Sofia Silva Berenguer gave an update on APNIC’s activities, services and product development.

  • Elly met with APNIC Members to discuss their IP address and membership needs.
  • Jessica Wei and Warren Finch conducted a workshop on Software Defined Networks to 12 participants.
