On behalf of the APNIC Executive Council, I want to again thank everyone in the APNIC community who contributed to the 2018 Survey conducted earlier this year. The EC has just completed a productive meeting where we finalised our response to the Survey, which is now available.
As I mentioned at APNIC 46, the APNIC Survey is a very important initiative that not only helps the EC and Secretariat to measure community satisfaction with APNIC’s performance, but also guides decisions on future priorities.
The 2019 Activity Plan, which the Secretariat has been developing, is based heavily on the survey feedback and it will be finalised and published shortly. Later next year, APNIC’s new four year strategic direction (2020-2023) will also be developed and the survey results will again be an important guide.
The 2018 results were pleasing, but there’s always areas that can be improved. The EC looks forward to working with Members and the broader community to ensure APNIC continues to meet and exceed your service needs.
