APNIC supported and participated at the Hong Kong Network Operators’ Group 6.0 (HKNOG 6.0) meeting in Hong Kong on 2 March 2018.
Welcoming 184 participants, the agenda included several technical presentations on topics including ‘Next generation networks and automation‘ and ‘Choosing an orchestration tool: Ansible and Salt‘.
APNIC activities:
- As a keynote speaker, Geoff Huston presented on the ‘Death of Transit’, discussing the evolution of network architecture and the implications of these changes in terms of public policies for the Internet.
- Tashi Phuntsho and Tohid Naslpak conducted a three-day workshop on SDN for 16 participants.
