SDN workshop to be held in Mongolia this April

APNIC will deliver a two-and-a-half day Software Defined Network (SDN) workshop from 10 to 12 April 2018, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with support from Mobicom.

Register now and pay before 26 March 2018 to get the early-bird rate.

This advanced workshop is designed for technical staff currently operating an IP and/or MPLS network who are interested in understanding the impact of SDN and wish to implement elements of SDN in the near future.

Topics covered will include:

  • Introduction to and architectural frameworks for SDN
  • OpenFlow
  • OpenDaylight
  • Mininet
  • Segment routing
  • BGP Egress Peer Engineering
  • Segment routing interworking with LDP

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to practice the hands-on lessons learned using the APNIC virtual lab.
