APNIC attended the 69th North American Network Operators Group (NANOG 69) meeting in Washington D.C. from 6 to 8 February 2017. Welcoming over 900 attendees, NANOG 69 comprised several technical tracks and discussions surrounding security, routing, peering and the DNS, to name a few.

APNIC activities

  • Geoff Huston gave a presentation entitled “Let’s Encrypt with Dane”, on the limitations of browser-based SSL security on the Internet and the experiences using Dane TLSA resource records to validate server certificates.
