APNIC attended the Asian Carriers Conference 2014 (ACC 2014) from 10 to 13 September 2014, in Cebu City, Philippines.
The ACC is a telecom industry event to discuss and share the latest developments in telecommunications and ICT. Attendees range from wholesale and fixed mobile carriers, network and infrastructure providers, application and service developers, and content distributors. ACC 2014 celebrated ten years of collaboration and centred on the theme “Discovering the Future of Telecom Carriers”.
APNIC activities included:
- APNIC had a Member Services booth at the conference and APNIC staff, Frank Salanitri and Anna Mulingbayan, used this opportunity to meet with a number of APNIC Members including Wifi City Philippines, DBL Telecom, Telstra Global, and Globe Telecom to discuss their addressing needs.
- Frank and Anna provided Members and prospective Members with Internet resource advice, including how to obtain IPv4 / IPv6 address space, IPv4 transfers, updating the whois database, and creating route objects in MyAPNIC.
