APNIC provides more than Internet number resource services. It offers a range of products, tools, and information to help Members operate resilient and secure networks. However, feedback from the community has shown that while APNIC services are valuable, it has not always been clear how they come together to solve real operational problems for Members.
In 2026, APNIC is introducing more activities built around specific outcome‑based themes. These are designed to better explain why we put our efforts into certain areas, what problems we are solving, and what Members can expect as we continue improving services.
One of the key themes for 2026 is Internet security and network health.
To support this, APNIC Academy is hosting an upcoming webinar to help strengthen your network security with APNIC products and tools. The session will help Members and the wider community make better use of routing security tools, services, and related information.
Webinar details
31 March 2026
15:00 – 16:00 (UTC +10)
This webinar will give a practical introduction to routing security mechanisms and the products that support this theme, including:
- Internet Routing Registry (IRR) route objects and Autonomous System (AS) SETs
- RPKI Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs), and an introduction to Autonomous System Provider Authorizations (ASPAs)
- Route management best practices
- How to use APNIC’s Network Health Dashboard (DASH) to visualize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing, identify misconfigurations, monitor for suspicious activity, review potential security issues, and more
Whether you’re responsible for routing accuracy, operational security, or day-to-day network oversight, this webinar will help you understand how these tools fit together and how to apply them within your own environment.
More opportunities and topics in 2026
