
APNIC supported and participated in IDNOG 10, held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 21 to 24 July 2025.
The event welcomed a record breaking 1,132 participants, to hear from speakers on topics including AI, network automation, DNS and much more. View the agenda for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Makito Lay presented a ‘RPKI Status Update’ where he highlighted the importance of RPKI and ROV for securing BGP routing, noting strong ROA adoption in South East Asia but low ROV implementation. He encouraged networks to not only sign their prefixes but also validate routes and update their routing policies accordingly.
- Makito and APNIC Community Trainer, Muzamer Mohd Azalan, conducted a three-day Network Automation Workshop for 12 participants.
