
APNIC participated in PacNOG 35, held in Suva, Fiji from 23 to 27 June 2025.
The event welcomed participants for five days of workshops and the conference day. The program featured presentations from local and regional industry experts on topics including RPKI, DNS/DNSSEC, networking and much more.
APNIC activities:
- Shane Hermoso and APNIC Retained Community Trainer, Epeli Tagi, conducted a four-day workshop on Internet operations for 33 participants.
- Jordan Previtera presented on ‘Cleaning up your RPKI invalids’ where he discussed the importance of ROV and highlighted how operators can use DASH to generate reports and alerts on routing status, suspicious traffic, and MANRS readiness.
- Shane also took the opportunity to visit Fiji-IX and meet with the Telecommunications Authority of Fiji (TAF) to discuss important Internet-related matters on enhancing Internet infrastructure and resilience.
