APNIC participated in the NETmundial +10 meeting held in São Paulo, Brazil from 29 to 30 April 2024.
The two-day event focused on strengthening the multistakeholder model and its practical implementation by uniting stakeholders and providing them the opportunity to share ideas and make recommendations. The meeting marked the tenth anniversary of the Global Multistakeholder Meeting on The Future of Internet Governance (NETmundial), held in Brazil in 2014, to discuss the evolution of Internet governance.

APNIC activities:
- Sylvia Cadena was invited as a member of the High-Level Executive Committee by the CGI.BR, and helped develop the consultation, program and participation plan. Sylvia also contributed to the development and publication of the outcome document, which is available to view: São Paulo Guidelines.
- Pablo Hinojosa and Sylvia, as part of the technical community, worked with other community representatives on an output document.
- Pablo spoke at the panel ‘Process coordination: GDC, WSIS+20, and beyond’.
- Pablo attended the first face-to-face meeting as a member of the newly established Privacy, Ethics and Human Rights (PEHR) Advisory Council of Quad 9.
