APNIC participated at the 18th Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2023 (18th BIGF 2023), held from 23 to 25 November 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The event welcomed participants to discuss the theme ‘The Internet We Want: Empowering All People in Bangladesh’, focusing on cybersecurity, cybercrime, and online safety.
APNIC activities:
- Siena Perry participated online at the Bangladesh Women in Internet Governance Forum and spoke on the importance of diverse participation in Internet governance and community issues. Siena also highlighted ways in which people can participate, including fellowships, the APNIC Academy, and Orbit.
