APNIC supported and participated in mnNOG 5, held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 18 to 23 September 2023.
The event welcomed 100 participants to hear from speakers on topics including routing, network automation and much more. View the agenda for more details.
APNIC activities:
- Geoff Huston presented on Geostationary Orbit (GEO) satellites, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites and Starlink.
- Bayar Batjargal gave an update on IPv6 in Mongolia. Bayar also met with Members, answering their questions on IPv6 and updating contacts in MyAPNIC.
- Dave Phelan presented on Open source SD-WAN.
- Dave also conducted the Network Security and Packet Analysis workshop alongside APNIC Community Trainer Ulsaa Enkhtaivan.
