APNIC supported and participated in NetThing 2022, held virtually on 27 and 28 October 2022.
NetThing is Australia’s Internet Governance Forum (IGF), an annual event for the discussion of public policy issues pertaining to the Internet in Australia. Approximately 200 attendees joined the event to share information on the theme ‘More Resilient Together’.
APNIC activities:
- APNIC co-organized an in-person session with The School of Communications & Arts, Digital, Culture & Society, University of Queensland, titled ‘Internet Platform Regulation: Emerging Issues’.
- Terry Sweetser chaired the Lightning Talks session.
- APNIC also provided Zoom support for the event.
