APNIC supported and participated at mnNOG 3, held in hybrid format from 25 to 29 October 2021.
The event welcomed around 70 participants to hear about topics including network automation, issues on IPv6 implementation in Mongolia, and network monitoring. View the agenda for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Geoff Huston gave an overview on IP technology adoption in Mongolia, noting the high rate of DNSSEC adoption in their recursive resolvers, the good rate of ROV ROA filtering, and the close to perfect rate of signed ROAs. Currently however, there is no IPv6 deployed.
- Warren Finch, Dave Phelan, and Tashi Phuntsho conducted the Software Defined Networking Workshop.
