APNIC participated in the Asia Pacific Youth IGF 2021, held online from 17 to 20 September 2021.
The Youth IGF served as preparation for the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF). It provided participants the opportunity to meet industry experts and discuss topics of interest such as cryptocurrency and Internet hardware.
APNIC activities:
- Che-Hoo Cheng participated as a panellist in a roundtable discussion on the ‘Ramifications of Internet hardware on the environment and geopolitics’. In focus was the environmental impact and geopolitics of submarine fibre-optic deployments.
