APNIC participated in the ITU Global Cyberdrill 2021, held online from 15 to 23 September 2021.

As part of the Global CyberDrill 2021, there were three interregional meetings on the theme ‘Cyber Resilience and Protecting Critical Information Infrastructure’. The objective of these meetings was to share information on minimizing cyber threats, highlighting best practices, innovative ideas and common challenges faced across regions.

APNIC activities:

  • Adli Wahid participated as a moderator and speaker at the ‘Critical Infrastructure Protection and Best Practices’ session, noting the importance of understanding the root causes of cyber threats, having practical and real-world strategies to mitigate these, ensuring there is contemporary documentation and best practices in place, and investing in skills and building capacity.
