APNIC supported and participated at vPhNOG 2.0 held online from 12 to 16 July 2021.
The event focused on RPKI deployment and welcomed around 188 participants to take part in tutorials and hear from speakers on topics including signing and creating ROAs and dropping invalids.
APNIC activities:
- Anna Mulingbayan gave an update on APNIC’s engagement activities, statistics on Internet number resource distribution, and RPKI deployment in the Philippines.
- There was a three-day ROA workshop, which included a one-day tutorial on RPKI delivered by Warren Finch, and a two-day ROA signing session and technical assistance conducted by Anna, Sheryl (Shane) Hermoso and Arth Paulite who helped Filipino Members create their ROAs in MyAPNIC.
- Shane participated as a panellist in the Women in Tech: Perspectives from Service Providers session.
- Anna and Shane are both members of the PhNOG Program Committee.
