APNIC participated in Connections 2020, held online from 7 to 11 December 2020.
Connections 2020, is a post-IETF forum organized by the India Internet Engineering Society (IIESoc) and the Industry Network Technology Council (INTC) to discuss issues important to network deployment, operation, and the design of networks as they impact IETF standards. A highlight of the event was the update on the next steps of IPv6 deployment at enterprises, a project funded by an ISIF Asia 2020 grant.
APNIC activities:
- Paul Wilson gave the opening remarks in the ‘IPv6 Deployment @ Enterprises‘ session and spoke about the continuing importance of IPv6 deployment in the region to ensure the Internet continues to grow.
