APNIC participated at the inaugural ConnecTechAsia 2018 in Singapore, from 26 to 28 June 2018. ConnecTechAsia 2018 comprised three separate events — BroadcastAsia, CommunicAsia and the new NXTAsia — in one to share information on topics including cloud, blockchain, AI, IoT, 5G, IP broadcasting, OTT and smart cities.
The event drew close to 40,000 attendees from 96 economies, including 1,800 exhibitors.
APNIC activities:
- Anna Mulingbayan, Tom Do, and Blandine Cousin hosted a booth and welcomed a number of current and potential Members to help them with their membership and IP address queries.
- Anna presented on IPv6 trends in the Asia Pacific region, answering several questions from interested audience members.
