APNIC will deliver a two-and-a-half-day Internet Exchange Point (IXP) workshop, from 6 to 8 February 2018, in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

This workshop is designed for technical staff who are considering participating at an IXP. The workshop is also suitable for technical staff of planned or existing IXPs.
Topics covered will include:
- OSPF/ISIS configuration for service provider networks
- An introduction to BGP and its attributes, policy, and filtering
- Peering objectives and best practices
- IXP network design and operations best practices
Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to practice the hands-on lessons learned using the APNIC virtual lab.
