APNIC participated at the 28th Taiwan Network Information Centre Open Policy Meeting (TWNIC OPM) held in conjunction with the 2017 Taiwan Network Operators Group (TWNOG 2017) meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, from 21 to 22 June 2017.
TWNIC holds regular meetings for network operators and users in Taiwan to discuss policies and the latest developments relevant to Internet infrastructure and local needs. The themes for this event were IPv6 deployment in Taiwan, Internet security, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
APNIC activities
- Che-Hoo Cheng presented on security best practices for network operators, highlighting important information operators can use to make their networks and DNS infrastructure more secure.
- Sheryl (Shane) Hermoso delivered a one-day tutorial on Security and RPKI to around 50 participants.
