Earlier this month, APNIC’s security specialist, Adli Wahid, attended an ASEAN Incident Response Forum held in Malaysia.
This workshop provided representatives from government, law enforcement, academia, business, the technical community and other security agencies within the region an opportunity to discuss current and future measures to reduce the risk of conflict in the event of disruptive national or international cybersecurity incidents.
In this podcast, I chat with Adli about the outcomes from this multistakeholder forum and discuss APNIC’s involvement in similar security events and workshops over the last six months, including:
- Developing a new security auditing module as part of our APNIC Network Security Workshops; and
- Adli’s active participation in FIRST – FIRST is looking at APNIC as a strategic partner for carrying out joint activities including FIRST Technical Colloquiums, one of which was held on the eve of APRICOT 2016 in Auckland, New Zealand.
This podcast is part of a series of podcasts updating you on APNIC’s involvement in the cybersecurity space.
