The NRO has announced a call for comments on a draft Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the IANA Numbering Services.
An SLA between the RIRs and the IANA Numbering Services Operator is a key element of the CRISP team’s proposal to the IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group.
Legal experts from different RIRs drafted the SLA in response to the Internet numbering community proposal’s principles, and it is based on the existing provisions of the NTIA – IANA agreement. Please note the content of the draft SLA is not the result of negotiations with ICANN or any other parties, and it has not yet been reviewed by the CRISP team.
The draft SLA is open for comments until 14 June 2015. Further information on the development of the draft SLA, and the draft SLA itself, can be found on the NRO website. To provide comments on the draft SLA, please email ianaxfer@nro.net (subscribe to the mailing list here).
