
APNIC supported and participated in the Pacific Internet Governance Forum 2025, held in Apia, Samoa from 30 June to 4 July 2025.
The five-day event featured technical workshops, multistakeholder dialogues, and policy discussions exploring Internet governance challenges and opportunities across the Pacific region under the theme of “Digital Inclusion and Safety”. View the program for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Dave Phelan participated in a panel discussion on ‘Safety and Security in the Pacific’ where he presented on ‘APNIC’s Role in the Pacific Islands’.
- Dave delivered a two-day DNS/DNSSEC workshop for 13 participants and a half-day workshop on IPv6 for Decision Makers for 7 participants.
