APNIC supported and participated in the VNNIC Internet Conference 2023, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam on 30 June 2023.
Under the theme ‘Internet in intelligent era’, speakers shared information on topics including cybersecurity, Internet governance and data mining issues, and Internet reliability. View the agenda for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Pablo Hinojosa and Sunny Chendi helped facilitate the workshop on ‘Youth and Internet governance in intelligent era for students’ for around 40 participants and also used the IPGO game to explain the Internet governance ecosystem and how the Internet works, including related emerging technologies and online safety.
- Pablo participated as a panellist in the ‘DNS and building the trust’ session.
- Pablo and Sunny also had side meetings with the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) on future coordination and support.
